Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Lake of Shadows with Whisper of the Worm in 23 min on Solar Hunter - Solo Grandmaster - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Celestial Nighthawk - Whisper of the Worm - Platinum Rank - Gilded Conqueror - Solo Conqueror - How to Complete Lake of Shadows Guide - Solar Hunter Build - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
Crafted Whisper of the Worm is in its final form, and Lake of Shadows suits it well with not just one but two bosses where Whisper can do a lot of damage. So for this run I am using Whisper on a Solar Hunter for a nice and quick clear. As expected, it works great and most importantly allows to quickly complete the Meatball boss fight! Sadly, I ran out of ammo before final boss, but Mountaintop, Golden Gun and Gunpowder Gamble made a short work of that guy anyhow.
As for the rest of the build, I have a pretty standard Solar Hunter with Celestial Nighthawk for a crazy powerful Golden Gun, and Solar Bow (Tyranny of Heaven) with Ember of Empyrean to get easy access to restoration. Lastly, I have the newly reprised Mountaintop with ALH to have some extra burst damage when needed, it is also amazing now for skipping Tormentor section.
I used the boss cheese spot to make the run quicker. Also, I skipped the Tormentor section. You can find a no cheese/no skip Strand Titan clear using the link below.
