Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Heist Battleground: Moon on Strand Warlock with Thorn and Necrotic Grip - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Necrotic Grip - Thorn - Platinum Rank - Strand Warlock - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
Heist BG Moon is back, and I actually like this one. For this run I am using Strand Warlock with Thorn and Necrotic Grip. This is a very strong and fun combo that does substantial damage and provides some nice add clear potential on top of that. Threadling do a lot of damage with Strand Surge. Unfortunately the 2nd phase in the Boss room went horribly wrong. I am not sure why sometimes Scorn captains keep coming and sometimes they stop spawning after Arc Charge phases. Maybe anyone knows? If they keep coming like in this run, it always becomes much more difficult and long.
As for my other weapons, I have an Arc Rocket Sidearm, which to be honest sometimes steals the show. It is an incredible weapon with very efficient ammo economy. Lastly, I have a Solar LMG (Avalanche) with Auto-loading holster. I took this one instead of Fixed Odds purely because of the auto-loading perk.
I decided to use the "Protect Ghost" section cheese. I will probably revisit it with no cheese later in the season, but I do not see much point for this GM as infinite enemies are not fun anyway. You can find a no cheese Strand Hunter completion from a season ago using the link below.
