Near-infinite sword ammo event is on for this week, so of course why not do a GM with it. Black Talon and Gyrafalcons pair very well for it, allowing you to spam heavy ammo for the entire GM. Unfortunately I don't have the selector-node for whatever reason, despite many people having it. So this will have to do.

Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Solo Expert Battleground Conduit on a Solar Warlock / Solo Flawless Expert BG Conduit in Episode 1 Echoes. Just a quick video showing a solo flawless clear of the newly added Battleground this week on Expert Difficulty, being cleared using a Warlock in Episode 1 Act 2 Echoes. Details below.
A lot more simple than week 1, as every encounter has a safe spot you can clear the enemies from. The solar build works well for chain ignitions. Boss shouldve been a 2 phase, but phase 1 I saved Whisper ammo thinking that the Barrier Champions would respawn. Second phase I got flinched all over the place, but ultimately me holding off on phase 1 was what caused the issue. Otherwise, its pretty straight forward.

I was originally thinking of trying out a Graviton build for this, to see how complete safety would be, but it feels so slow these days when compared to the Prismatic options. So I went with the usual Liars Hunter, which worked pretty well for the entire strike. Could be a lot faster, and Titan can clear this much better, but this gets the job done. I think the class item Liars has a lot more potential on this, but RNG isnt kind to me at all.
Probably the last run Ill do of this GM for the season. Not too fond of the boss fight, and I dont have any decent Titan class items to really build into that playstyle. It works with default Synthos, but something else to pair it with would be nice for the added boost.
I also really hope they change the current schedule for GMs, as for me personally its probably one of the worst changes and timegating Ive seen in this game. Even with all the downtime over the years, at least Nightfalls provided the slightest bit of variation and some content for each reset. Theres absolutely no reason at all we should be stuck to 3 GMs per act, needing them to rotate twice until the next 3 appear. It ruins any variety to the GM playlist (which was already sorely lacking), and it makes repeat runs just feel completely pointless when theyre so close together. It also needlessly prolongs the Conqueror seal until act 3, which why we dont have the selector node yet is beyond me. I wasnt too fond of the previous system, and Ive mentioned before different ways I wanted to see more variety and choice over what we do. But at least back then the 5-6 week gap made the repeat nightfalls not feel pointless, instead knowing itll be the same again in 2 weeks.

This is probably the most Ive felt any difference in a mission between pre-TFS until now. The enemies in this hit surprisingly hard in here, and even with Devour and the Gyrfalcons build youre still able to get melted down very quickly. On top of that, loadouts are locked now, so youre not able to have a better loadout for the boss. It makes it quite a bit longer than it otherwise would be, but outside of that, this shows a fairly safe approach to getting it done. Theres probably other builds and setups that can get it done quicker, but this one is straightforward enough. I played it extra safely in the later stages as I didnt want to have to start over again.

Not sure if running double special was the best choice here, but it did help with dealing with the Wyverns in the second area, which was the only real pain point I remember when running this before. Maybe just a regular primary would be better than Mountaintop though, and then you wouldnt have to juggle ammo adn speed a lot of other sections up. Either way, its straightforward enough.
Its also kind of weird the naming conventions and locked loadout rules for a lot of these missions. Most of the legacy exotic missions do have locked loadouts, for example Vexcalibur which didnt in the past - but then this one doesnt. They also dont seem to follow the same naming rules of expert vs legend either, so I dont know. Feels like these are kind of forgot about.
