Lovely off trail bushcraft hike in windy weather with rain. But cleared up nice and calmed down in the evening. This harsh region was in ancient time called the Stone Kingdom. It was very hard to live there and grow food for obvious reasons, specially in periods of very hard winters with crop failure and famine in the 19th century, resulting in 1.5 million people emigrating mainly to America. (3.5 million total population in 1850) The Cinnamon Apple was a lovely treat and the tea was amongst the more tasty things I've ever had. Thanks for watching!
