It's been a while. Back trying out some new ideas. Boil baking was great for this kind of primitive camping. Its foolproof one might say, since it's impossible to scorch the bread. Drying and smoking meat like this it needs to be not so windy, or else you need a wind block. The weather was perfect. Moist and lots of smoke. But you cant be in a rush. Control the burn with a mix of dead wood and moist pine which calms the fire down. I gave it a good 12 h. The taste was very good. Thanks for watching and I try to not wait 5 weeks for the next one!
