One of my favorite advanced SOLIDWORKS tricks: Pattern Driven Component Pattern! This feature lets you quickly insert and mate multiple parts into an assembly in just a few clicks, all driven by an existing pattern. This is perfect for bolts, washers, nuts, or any repeated components, and it automatically updates when your pattern changes. Give it a try and speed up your workflow!

To start, create your first instance of a component pattern. In this example, Cailin uses a bolt, washer, and nut with their mates already set. Then, by selecting "Pattern Driven Component Pattern", she's able to link the components and their mates to the hole pattern she created previously. This is a great time-saving trick, and it makes your assemblies more robust.
