SOLIDARICAT: THE RADICALISATION OF JONI THE FASHIONISTA CAT. Students enlisted Joni the cat in the global struggle for garment workers’ rights. Students teamed up with War on Want to produce a film for War on Want’s Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops campaign. The film shows the journey of Joni the Fashionista cat as she learns about the abuses at the heart of the fashion industry and joins War on Want’s Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops campaign in solidarity with garment workers around the world.The five UCL students joined War on Want, 1- 8 June 2016, as part of UCL’s Active Citizenship - Global Citizen Programme.
