Today at the cabin I’m pushing deeper into my off-grid setup by installing solar power at my forest cabin, but things quickly take a turn when my ATV gets completely stuck in deep snow in the middle of my property. Living on a 200-acre forest means nothing is ever easy—especially during winter. Between hauling gear, working on the cabin, and trying not to get stranded in the snow, this day turned into a serious challenge.
Off-grid life in the Wendigo Forest always brings surprises. From installing solar panels to battling deep snow in the woods, this is the real reality of building and living on a remote property.
