This is Larry Scott's idea. He calculated the time the sun would be on the the great circle containing both of our locations. He and I measured sets of zenith angles to the upper limb of the sun at the same time. Stay tuned for the results. The next set will be observed by The Maine Surveyor and me at the date and time Larry calculates for the sun to be on the great circle between the two of us. Then, another set will be planned for Larry and Jeff to observe. Is this cool stuff or what?! :)
