I captured a 1 hour time lapse of the Sun yesterday. The large prominence was pretty spectacular, like a plasma waterfall. In this video I repeat it twice sped up then slow it down once more, and end with a static image. The prominence was about 160K km or 100,000 miles high.
I used my TEC160FL custom modified Ha solar telescope from my backyard in Scottsdale.
