Are software developer bootcamps worth it? As always, it depends on the person. The knowledge you gain in the bootcamp is pretty basic and can be found online for free or relatively cheap (when compared to a dev bootcamp). However, a bootcamp will force you to work on becoming a software developer for 8-10 hours a day, which most of us don't have the discipline to do on our own. So in that case, they are beneficial.
