A beautifully muted, brushed tone perfect for cinematic scoring, ambient sound design, and delicate songwriting.
In this video, I’ll walk you through the full story behind Softstruck — from the inspiration during a felted piano session, to experimenting with different felt picks and guitars. You'll hear how three guitars (a Telecaster, a Duesenberg Caribou with flatwounds, and a Les Paul) were sampled through multiple amps and pedalboards, and processed with our signature White, Blue, and Pink FX signals.
