In today's video, we're taking a first look at the new Sofabaton U3 Universal Remote. We'll unbox everything included in the box, walk through the setup process, explore the Sofabaton app, and share some initial thoughts after getting everything connected.
Unlike the Sofabaton X2, the U3 takes a simpler approach by removing the hub and focusing on direct control of your home theater devices. The big question is whether that's actually a disadvantage—or if it makes the U3 a better fit for the vast majority of users.
This isn't a full review. After spending more time using the remote in my home theater, I'll share a more in-depth review covering reliability, everyday use, macros, and long-term impressions.
