Soapstone is a smooth translucent paste that can be made into deep colors and applied with either a smooth or rough texture. It is ideal to topcoat with colored glaze mediums for added depth and color. It dries to a tough, washable surface.
Both Glazing Gel and Glazing Medium can be used as a colored topcoat for any kind of surface. Make sure to experiment first before committing to a large surface.
Materials: GPW Soapstone colored to #300 Pebble, Glazing Gel, Glazing Medium, GPW #106 “Cashmere” Metallic Paint.
Tools: 3” and 6” flexible stainless steel taping knives (also known as spackle knives), putty knives, spatulas, etc.
