(Nerdfighters, I know we sometimes get a bad rap for being overly enthusiastic and possessive about things like fandoms, but remember that being a nerdfighter isn't about inside jokes and exclusivity. It's about upholding a set of values by imagining others complexly, learning to tolerate and accept those who are different from you, and giving your time and money to charitable causes.
