Did you know that Tony Hawks Pro Skater didn’t originally include Tony Hawks as a skater! Nope… but instead, bruce willis! Seriously…. Before developers neversoft worked on the most popular skateboard game franchise in the world. They worked on Apocalypse for the playstation 1, a game taht used the likeness and voice of bruce willis… no, seriously!

Once complete the team knew they wanted to make a skateboard game next and they did that very thing by reworking the apocalypse game engine and of course they put bruce willis front and centre as a placeholder character until… somebody else came along that better fitted the role
