In My latest Acrylic Pouring video I will demonstrate Step by Step how to Create a Dimensional Fluid Art Abstract Painting. This acrylic pouring technique is fun, slightly complex, and perfect for artists of all levels. In this piece I am using modeling paste along with shuttle art flash paints.
Fluid Art is a fantastic way to unleash your creativity and produce stunning abstract paintings. It’s also incredibly satisfying and relaxing. Watch the video and follow along as I guide you through these exciting techniques.
In this tutorial, I use a beautiful color palette including glacier blue flash, sapphire blue flash, aqua green flash, yellow green flash, yellow flash, and titanium white. These colors create a dynamic effect on the canvas. Feel free to use your favorite colors, but I recommend incorporating some pearlized or metallic paints for added shine and contrast.
Materials Needed:
Acrylic Paints
Pouring Medium
Plastic Cups
Stir Sticks
pallet knife
Canvas 10x20
modeling paste
paint brushes
Paints used and paint brands:
glacier blue flash- SHUTTLE ART
sapphire blue flash- SHUTTLE ART
aqua green flash- SHUTTLE ART
yellow green flash- SHUTTLE ART
yellow flash-SHUTTLE ART
titanium white- LIQUITEX
pouring medium:
60% Floetrol
40% water
paints mixed:
2/1 pouring medium to paint
