So after having an amazing time at Närcon for 4 days I'm finally home and ready to upload me and Shadoukun's entry for the AMV contest.
We didn't win which was quite obvious considering the AMV looking so bad due to lots of reasons. Both of us were like: ''What the heck happened?! QAQ''
But there was indeed some really amazing entries and it was fun to watch the AMV contest even though seing our AMV look like trash xD Congratulations to the winner! c:
Rant warning:
1. The AMV was all out of synch(obviously we noticed it. c:)
2. The screen was too bright so the Clannad part disappeared completely.
3. The quality was horrible
4. Me and my partner got some strict rules to change some scenes since it was too much gore in it and you know what? There was an AMV with THE EXACT SCENE WE WEREN'T ALLOWED TO USE SINCE IT WAS TOO GOREY. We couldn't even use a scene with a person coughing up 3 drops of blood so that was just unfair.
Oh well.. ^^''

This version we upload right now has some of the gore parts we weren't allowed to use but that was mainly cause we prefered those versions of the parts. ^^
The parts we had to change in this were at:
2:09 (here it's still the version we had for the contest)

This collab gave me so much problems. One of the major problems I got was the motivation. For every single part it'd drop down to 0 and it'd take me ages to actually finish the parts and Shadoukun kept telling me to finish the parts(sorry to keep you waiting all the time. QwQ).
But this also made me improve. Since I'm not very familiar to edit with fast paced and intense songs this helped me improve on that part. I still have a lot to learn but still. XD
Anywaaaay. Hope you guys enjoy our collab we worked so hard on for 3-4 months. c:
And good luck with figuring out where our parts starts and ends. c:

My part for RemetiorStudios MEP. I cant link it as YT shorten it *cries*
It literally just got uploaded.
I dont really have any projects Im working on right now except MEP parts and as Im really happy with this part for RemetiorStudios MEP, as I sorta went super crossover story mode and experimented with it, I decided to upload it. Its also 30 seconds long so why not.
This part took me about 2 weeks (1-3 hours per day) to edit.
I hope you get the story but here is the summary if you want some clarification:
Menma has a sickness thats incurable (in the fake scenes it is brain cancer that is not able to be removed) which would make her die at a young age.
She dreams about her funeral one night and believes that it might be time for her to pass away. She thinks back to when she gets to know she had it as well as her good memories with her love Jintan.
In the last minutes of life Menma has she passes away in Jintans arms and the part with all the feathers and such takes part in the subconscious where Jintan is screaming for her to come back but she was finally able to become free. She was ready, she finally got free from the pain of her sickness and burden she felt like she was. Then all the birds and such just symbolizes the freedom and the afterlife. xD

This year surely has been a rollercoaster full of events, both good and bad. Its been one of my best years and also one of the worst. I turned 18 this year and that day surely was my best birthday yet, I went to Närcon and had so much fun there. My cat, Luke, who stood so dear to my whole familys heart died from a weak heart + 2 tumours, one in his head and one in his chest.
Ive gotten to know a lot of new people and its been really fun to spend the time with you guys! c:
Editing wise I think Ive improved a little bit with the flow and storytelling but in general its not that much and Im just urgh about it LOL. I need to be more creative so Ill work harder to improve this year. And Ill join much less MEPs.
Anyway.. hope you guys had an amazing New Year! :D
