Two years ago, I covered the newly announced strategy by Dutch theme part Efteling to go climate neutral by 2030 - converting their 3 genuine steam locomotives to run on battery power instead, in cooperation with narrow gauge specialists Alan Keef ltd.
Back then the video did a small round on various forums so, having finally been to Efteling, I thought I would give a small update on the matter, now that the first of the trio, Aagje, has been converted to a battery locomotive. So here we go, cutting through the noise.

Happy 4th of July!
America Sings was an audio animatronic show at Disneyland, from 1974 to 1988. The characters would sing multiple songs from various time periods, from the Early South up to the 70s, a show which lasted 21 minutes. The old Animatronic were moved to Splash Mountain after the closure of America Sings.
To celebrate the 4th of July, I animated the fourth and final section of the attraction, Modern Times in Source Filmmaker. After 5 years, this gargantuan project is finally finished!
A compilation of all the 4 chapters + a The Making Of will appear sometime later this month!

Do you fear deathah? Do you fear that dark abyss?
What originally started out as an exercise in facial animation and head movement became a full spoof of perhaps the most memorable scene out of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest. Some liberties had to be taken and it isnt 1:1, but it was a fun test of my skill nonetheless. My take away from ti all is that TF2 characters are very hard to get subtle motions out of so Ive gained all the more respect for anyone who can do it way better than I can!
