It is a very simple premise, but allows for some very unique interactions and teams. If you are unaware, the pokedex color of a pokemon is bascially the main color that a pokemon consists of. For example, gholdengo is yellow, whereas iron bundle is red. Luckily the color of every pokemon is listed and sorted on bulbapedia, which makes teambuilding very easy and doesn’t leave you guessing whether a pokemon is part of a certain color or not. This pokemon was considered an S tier threat in its debut generation and still ranked an A tier pokemon in gen 5. However after gen 5, this pokemon experienced a huge fall in its competitive career. In gen 6 its ranked a C tier pokemon and in gens 7 & 8 its only B-. unfortunately, Palkia completely fell off in gen 9, where it is ranked a D tier pokemon, which is considered an unviable pokemon in the ubers tier. So what happened to Palkia, how did it go from a defining threat in the ubers metagame to an unviable pokemon that sees no use?
