Hello and welcome to our new contest (but not really)!

Summer is right around the corner and we here at SNS thought it would be cool to do something a little different. Something fun and hopefully something that inspires the community to get more involved and interact with each other! Like our previous contest, PLEASE read all the description VERY carefully before you make any quick decisions!!


✦ QUICK NOTES:
- This is a MEP contest, NOT a studio audition. HOWEVER open invitations to join the studio will be offered (Should you choose to accept) if we are impressed with effort and work put into your parts.
- This contest is also open to SNS members and other editing studios as well.

✦ CONTEST RULES:
-Any Style/Theme/Song etc. is allowed
-MEP’s must have a minimum of at least 5 people participating.
-MEP’s must have a minimum duration of 2:30
-Anime Only (No Hentai)
- Must include the tittle SNS Summer Festival in both your Signup & Finished MEP videos

How it works is that YOU as an individual, must create a MEP signup. It can be public and open for anyone to join or you can form your own group and host a private MEP. Regardless you MUST upload your MEP Signup stating whether it is “public” or “closed,” then submit your signup link via this channel. We will then put your Signup into a playlist where it can be viewed by everyone. This is an opportunity that allows others who don’t want to host an MEP of their own to potentially join someone else’s. And it can also help fill your own as the one hosting the MEP. When the MEP is finished you will also submit your video via this channel.

For studios it is slightly different. Studios can also host a MEP, allowing for its members to participate and represent the studio in the competition. For example, If SNS as a studio decided to participate in the contest. We would host a MEP exclusively for the contest and choose 5 or more SNS members to represent the studio. As a studio you must upload and submit your videos via this channel as well.

That is where we will need each one of you to take part in this project, because YOU will decide on which MEP's will get featured on SNS's channel. Once the contest is closed, we will set up a public poll that will let you vote for your favorite MEP and maybe give it a chance to be the winner. The participating MEP's will all be listed in a playlist and the votes will be converted into points (the maximum being 10). The entry with the most votes will get 10 points, the 2nd will get 9 points, etc. If there is a tie, the same amount of points will be given to the entries. To avoid any biased results or game changing cheating, the other half of the final score will be decided by the jury. The four judges will rank each entry based on different criteria such as global flow, timing, respect of the theme, scene selection and fitting of the parts together. We will then convert everything to a total of 20 points that will decide of the top rankings.
We are counting on you, your opinion matters!

✦ WINNERS:
Probably up to TOP 8 MEP’s along with its participants will be featured on our channel each week.
Every finished MEP will be listed in a featured playlist on our channel.
