i'm uploading this for two reasons:

1. i hadn't edited proper fx in FOREVER and when i manage to finish a full part after such long breaks i'm always so relieved :') 'cause i often end up thinking i won't be able to do anything other than raw anymore lol but thankfully it's not the case. *insert "i'm still worthy!" meme here*

2. i reached 16k subs today and as usual i didn't do anything special, so i'll at least upload something to mark this milestone somehow haha thank you everyone!

talking about the part itself, this was actually a replacement and i'm happy i got to join this mep in the end because this used to be one of my favorite songs when it came out and editing it today gave me a nice nostalgic feeling :') it was a bit challenging because i somehow couldn't get the colors to look decent and in fact i had to restart several times from scratch, but once i finally figured out what to do it went quite smoothly (with the exception of the usual "last 20% of the part curse" lol i'm sure all editors know what i'm talking about). i had a lot of inspiration with this anime because there are so many telephone scenes to pick from, and i had SO MUCH FUN putting little funny details throughout the part, trying to replicate calls, messages and all this stuff as close to reality as i could. i even called my own phone 3249 times or sent messages to myself to see how everything changed on the screen, and the movement the phone made on the table while buzzing XD this last thing in particular made me waste quite some time and in the end it's not even properly visible because i had to put the glitching effect to go with the song : ( but as i said, i had a good time and that's what matters

as you probably know, here in italy the virus situation is quite serious and i've been home for three weeks, i only go out once every four or five days to go shopping for food and even then i have to wait 40 minutes in line to get into the shop lol i pray these strict measures will produce their effects soon and everyone will be able to go back to a normal life as soon as possible. the good side of this is that i have A LOT of spare time and i'm being able to dedicate myself to editing like i hadn't done in years :')

i hope everyone stays safe, we'll get through this eventually!

PS: one day i'll also upload a collection, it's been more than a year since the last one omg
