Hello, finally we are here with our Group Projects.
This MEP is the first Project and 9 Projects (weekly) are coming every Saturday from now on. So keep stalking our channel every Saturday 8D
Im in SO in love with the theme! The given theme was Love Through Time which means: The Story behind this MEP starts with animes like kuroshitsuji which sets around 1800 and then we kinda walk through time. until at the end we have all future animes like sword art online which sets around 2024. The MEP tells love stories in all parts of history.
I really like the originallity behind this MEP and I want to THANK YOU ALL for finishing your parts before the deadline and for putting so much effort into your parts!
Tanja you did an amazing job as Group leader. I remember when you refused to lead a Group coz you were busy af. So im glad I could convince you to lead a Group. You did a great job! :)

About this Project:
So as you might know that SNS got alot of members, the idea behind this was to organize a project which allowed our members to get to know each other more (since were so many) :).
Members were categorized together according to how much their editing styles fit together, they were then assigned a group leader for each of the 1O groups. They were then given different categories and styles and were tasked to create a mep. They will be released every Saturday starting on the 1Oth of september so make sure your watch them :D!

HEY GUYS!! Omg were finally here, what a tough time it has been deciding who the members were going to be. This year it couldnt be any closer or harder to decide, there were plenty of arguments LOL. Whats great about having the 3 leaders judge is that we all have different opinions on what makes great editing, so it really gives us a rounded overall score of the entrants. I just want to thank every single person who auditioned this time around, it really is so flattering to have so many talented editors try out for our studio. As you know, most years we consider a score of 40+ to be studio level editing, which pretty much means we could see you editing in our MEPS, so scoring higher than that is an accomplishment in itself. Unfortunately as you all know we cant take everyone, and this time round we settled on 15 new members. Congratulations guys, your talents are endless and we cant wait to work with every single one of you :)
Every audition was judged by our 3 judges (iBakaCam, Tenebriiis, AnimezzTV) and each of us scored every audition out of 20, which was broken down into 4 categories which were:
Timing, Flow, Use of effects, Originality. These scores were combined to give the auditions a score out of 60 (we considered a score of 40+ studio editing level).

The judging of this auditions is PURELY down to the OPINIONS, of the leaders. This does not mean that the score that we gave you defines you as an editor and makes you any less of an editor.

This is the final spotlight for SNS. This is the moment weve all been waiting for. Writing these lines feels weird to us because weve been doing this for 10 years and knowing that this is coming to an end right now feels unreal. We proudly you present you our last SNS MEP ever. With this MEP we, the leaders are quitting youtube forever. Its time for us to say goodbye. Thank you all so much for your love and support for the past 10 years. Nothing made us happier than seeing a bunch of people, editors, anime fans watch our meps since teenage years. Creating this studio allowed us a place to dream and to find escape from lonely times in our lives. It allowed us to feel free and adventurous in a time little else was moving. It was a beautiful journey with yall. Wed like to thank our beautiful members and ex members. You are the reason why we kept doing more and more. Yall made us better and determined. Our intention with 6 INCH HEELS was to create an atmosphere thats not a classical halloween. We tried focusing on this workers anthem. Empowering women or men to stay on their grind and keep making their money and corrupt business. The song itself uses 6 Inch Heels as a symbol of wealth and power. Which is why we focused on using crime scenes, psycho scenes, murder with class scenes, agent scenes, heels scenes, smoke scenes and dark scenes. We hope you find joy in this MEP.

Hello and welcome to our very first contest! The celebrations for reaching 100k subscribers continues! Now before you make any decisions, PLEASE read all of the description VERY carefully.

I just want to make some quick very important points about this contest;
- this is NOT an audition, purely a contest. HOWEVER, open invitations to the studio will be extended if we are impressed by your work, but you are in no way obliged to join the studio (you do not have to be a winner to receive an invitation.)
- there are 2 separate categories with 2 separate winners (one for each) fx and raw. It is your decision which category you enter, but you may only enter one.
- The contest IS open for SNS members
- The longer your amv is, the more points you are able to achieve.
Im going to try and make this as simple as possible so ill breakdown the explanation into different sections, first;
CONTEST RULES; - Your video should meet these requirements;
-Video must be edited by ONE person
- Anime Only (the definition of anime can be ambiguous to some, if you are unsure about the media you wish to use do not hesitate to ask and we will clarify for you) this includes manga.
- No shorter than 40 seconds long and this discounts studio intros, as this is not part of your AMV. Videos shorter than 40 seconds will be rejected, but you will be allowed to change this if this is done before the deadline.
- The title of your video should read as follows; SNS - CONTEST 100 | (followed by the name of your AMV). So for example; SNS - CONTEST 100 | Unstoppable
- Your video must be new and cannot be an already created and uploaded AMV, it must be entirely your own work.
- Send your entry via PM to this channel;; + clarify which category you are entering and what name you would like to be represented with with the link to your video (only on Youtube) Make sure it is there after we respond to you.
- *IF POSSIBLE* Avoid using songs that have extreme levels of copyright.
JUDGING
This year the judging will be much different and more complex, i will try my best to entail how it is done, but do not worry so much if you do not understand fully.
Each judge (iBakaCam, AnimezzTV and Tenebriiis) uses 4 categories to judge which is slightly different for each side of the contest (fx and raw)
FX entails; Timing 0/20 Flow 0/20 Use of effects 0/20 Originality 0/20
RAW entails; Timing 0/20 Flow 0/20 Narration 0/20 Originality 0/20
Now instead of compiling our scores together, we will create a mean value which will give us the average scores, giving you a total out of 80.
Length of AMV is also factored into your score. It adds a percentage of your score based on the length of your amv, these percentage categories are as follows;
1| 40 - 59 = 0% added
2| 1 - 1:29 = 5% added
3| 1:30 - 1:59 = 10% added
4| 2:00 - 2:29 = 15% added
5| 2:30 - 2:59 = 20% added
6| 3:00 and over = 25% added
EXAMPLE - Contestant scores 80 overall (highest possible grade) and their video length is 2:35. This falls into category 5 which results in 20% of their score being added on. This means 20% of 80 (which is 16) resulting in the overall score of the contestant is 96 (80+16) (100 being the maximum possible score.)
I KNOW THAT WAS A LOT SO.. IN SIMPLE TERMS; The longer your AMV is, the more points you are able to achieve.

2ND 3RD 4TH & 5TH 20 seconds of your amv are featured in the runners up video and links to your amv and channel provided. (subject to change)
