Best Elf on a Shelf Day Ever 1303
It's that time again! When something is inside out house, making messes, and leaving chocolate for the kiddos. It's the return of Snowy our Elf on a Shelf!! She's a huge part of our holiday traditions and definingly our morning routine when it's winter time. And this morning is no different. Adley woke up first and saw that a strange light was coming from downstairs so she woke up Niko Bear and the two of them went to investigate. When they found Snowy up in our ceiling fan and tons of Christmas lights everywhere, they ran up to stairs to wake Jenny and I up.
The jump on our bed and start shouting "Snowy is here! Snowy is here!" As jenny and I wake up, we head across the hall to wake up baby Navey, asleep in her bed. With the whole family up, we head downstairs to say hi to Snowy. How did she get up there? Not only did she hung lights but she hid chocolate for the kiddos around the room. Now that we are up, a the kids have sugar in them we decide we should put up our Christmas tree.
Adley and head out to the garage to find the tree and our decorations while Jenny figures out where we are going to set it up. Niko Bear helps hang ornaments, Adley gets our stocking up by the fire, while Navey tries to eat all the candy canes we have. Jenny was naughty though. She brought cereal into the living room for Navey. I hope the mouse that were in our house are gone for good, cause Navey is making a mess. Soon Navey is pouring cereal into my shoe. Which Niko dumps on Jenny's head...its about to get weird as it turnes into a family food fight battle!!
After we clean up, we head to an outdoor mall. We need to get somethings for the house but while we are there we see a really cool water show, some bumper cars that we really want to ride and a little gingerbread house. We get closer and realize that Santa Claus is inside. So we jump in line to go visit him.
Adley and Niko are so excited as well as nervous. Santa helps calm their nerves with some amazing magic. She shows the kiddos how his bag works, uses magic to make picture and words appear in a blank book, and even play catch with Mrs.Claus, tossing some red glowing Chirstmas spirit around the room. It's so fun! Santa also told the kiddos to be nice to each other and to do everything in their bedtime routines.
The next day, Adley and Niko Bear come to the spacestation with me. I need to get some work done so its a dad date to the office. We get in and see some really cool stuff in my office like Minecraft Heelys that Spacestation Gaming helped come to life and a Mark Rober Crunch Labs box that Adley can't wait to start working on. She works for a little while, making an amazing fort!! She's super smart and i wouldn't be surprised if she becomes a Spacestation scientist some day!!
