I just figured out that you can get oob with a megasidehop, which is much easier than megaflipping, so I think there is no excuse to not use this in a segmented run now.
It's too bad the Snowhead segment is already way too hard, so we could skip all the boss keys in the console run. Maybe in future speed runs someone will man up and do this.
If you can consistently megaflip and know the right angle for this, it's actually not too hard.
