Jim, SnowDogg Tech, walks you through everything you should do before you put your snow plow in storage at the end of plow season. Follow these steps to help ensure your plow is field-ready when you mount it up next year:

1) Thoroughly wash your snow plow to remove salt, dirt, etc.
2) Apply di-electric grease and check for corrosion on all electrical connections (both plow-side and truck-side) - Don't forget the connections under the cover on the lift-frame!
3) Sand down and paint over any scratched or chipped paint
4) Use white lithium grease (or any multi-purpose grease) to grease your snow plow's cylinders - be sure to thoroughly coat the entire cylinder!
5) Grease all pivot points
6) Use a grease gun to grease all grease-fittings on your snow plow
