Thank you to TapeBrothers.com and to Rob Mackenzie for generously providing the combined prize of $150 for the contest.
Rob and I had a really hard time settling on one plane as the winner of the $75 prize from TapeBrothers.com plus $75 cash prize. There was a wide variety of great planes in many unique ways so it was difficult to make the decision. The point of these contests is to promote innovation and sharing of ideas so these aspects weighed in favor of the winning video. To choose one winner says nothing at all bad about the other entries and I encourage you to watch some or all of the original videos to get some great ideas and entertainment. Click on the names of the planes in the videos to watch the builders' original videos.
All builders at all latitudes stay tuned for a big contest that everyone can enter, announced in a few months. Snowbird builders - keep them together too as they might be re-adapted for summer use.
