Here is the first experience to create a track from the sounds SNOW RAVEN recorded during the Arctic Expedition. Most of the sounds were recorded in old icebreaker.
It is gratifying that there are people like Luc Hardy and his entire team who care about our future and the future of the entire planet. Luc Hardy gathered professionals from various fields: scientists, National Geographic photographers, world freediving champions, artists, musicians, government officials and representatives of the people who live in Tiksi (administrative center of Bulunsky district in the Sakha Republic of Yakutia), where the expedition started its long voyage to the Arctic Ocean. Each member of the expedition perceived the Arctic in their own way creating a collaborative exploration. For two weeks we lived in the old huge icebreaker "Mikhail Somov" and we were nicely calling it as "Grandfather Somov." The ship sailed from Arkhangelsk (city in European part of Russia) the whole month and finally docked on the bank of the Tiksi. We even had a helicopter, our iron bird, to carefully land on the islands. Expedition to the Arctic gave us the opportunity to touch this world! We were going to a world without civilization: only wild polar bears and walruses, dominating the expanses of the ocean and icebergs.
