So I finally decided to try out doing a solo duet playing both the piano and guitar!
I'm somewhat iffy on how the guitar came out, sound quality-wise, but I guess it's not terribly awful. I'll look into making improvements for future videos I play guitar in. In my own defense, I recorded the guitar through a fairly crappy mic, whereas the piano's audio was recorded straight into my computer.
With all that aside, I think it ultimately came out alright overall. It's a great song off of Snow Patrol's "A Hundred Million Suns" album; it's definitely one of my favorites.
I improvised the melody voice notes by ear, however I can give the chords for the song for those interested. It's quite repetitive on the guitar and in the left hand for the piano.
For both the verses and choruses the chords are: C Major, E minor, F Major, A minor, G Major, F Major.
