Snow on the moon? Today, in this short painting video, I'll show you how to paint it yourself with a dirty mug and some liquid acrylic paints.
In case you're wondering what the dirty cup is - This is the name given to a paint pouring cup that is filled messily.
In acrylic pouring, the cup is often filled layer by layer, as an example, first white paint, above it blue paint, red paint, etc. In doing so, you make sure that the colors mix with each other as little as possible.
With the Dirty Cup, you pour the colors into each other from higher up, so the colors partially mix in the cup.
To achieve the snow effect, you have to put only white color in the lower third of the cup at the beginning.
Since the color that goes into the cup at the beginning is the last to land on the canvas, the white color will lay over the others, creating a beautiful blanket of snow.
