On January 6, 2025 the Washington, DC region got hit with snow from winter storm Blair. 6 inches or more of snow was measured throughout the city.
While MARC and VRE were fully cancelled, as were most Amtrak services, Metrobus ran on a severe weather schedule, meaning only 42 out of 43 routes were running. Metrorail, on the other hand, was fully operational!
