Finally had a chance to try out the pair of Kahtoola MICROspikes I bought a few weeks ago. Their performance was flawless - excellent snow gear! Hiked about 9 miles - 6 of it was in the snow.
Also, I used the solid lid I made for my BCB Crusader Cooker, with the lid holder, it completes the cook kit, and goes with the DIY wick and external alcohol fuel bottle.
