August 2015. Video of snorkeling at the Gamma at the south end of 7 mile beach. Park across from the Poinsettia condominiums and walk through them to the water. This wreck is easy to get to from shore and is not deep so it is easy to swim to the bottom to see a large variety of fish. Typically see puffer (porcupine) fish, flounder, barracuda, french grunt, wrasse, parrot fish, blue tang, black durgon, trumpet fish, jack, squirrel fish, goatfish, sea cucumber, angel fish, ... Each year less of the ship is visible above the water, especially if a hurricane comes through.
