Sure enough, the same quick kill from Boss 2 can also apply to Boss 4. Unfortunately, it may be trickier to go for, and still has the 50/50 interaction frame - still more to test!
The high-level description of what's happening: a special flag is set on-and-off while the water bomb is descending from the window. If you get lucky and connect with the boss hitbox when that flag is set, they are instantly KO'd. Neat.

This stage should be mostly fine, but the middle climb is going to be stressful. Overall one of the better stages.")

Another run... still not quite what I want, but a hell of a lot better. Luck is the big missing factor now, and being able to get rockets in stage 7-1 really helped this run. I really dont like this mission. Minor skip during the opening of the second room, and otherwise my fights were at least OK. I think a fair chunk of time can still come off, but I dont want to push it further. It had a few neat timesavers, but is mostly just annoying to get through deathless.")

A theory TAS I started quite a while ago but only recently got around to finishing. This route still isnt perfect, but I made it to try and understand what might make up a real-time consistent route that balances difficulty and consistency. It turned out pretty well, although there will still need to be tweaks along the way. This video is approximately an 18:21 by RTA timing, but a more realistic good run would be closer to 18:45.
In any case, its a good start. Maybe Ill get around to running this. Or I might compromise and do Normal difficulty. Well see.")

Newer boss strats for stage 7. Toyminator is included as well, since it is identical to the new strat I use on him in stage 4. Theres also a new owl strat that is more consistent, but not really much faster.")

Test TAS to see what in general is possible with the game. I did not go to any effort to make it perfect or to manipulate luck. Anything in the video should be possible in a marathon setting, although some things may be somewhat inconsistent. This video is on-par with the accompanying Any% Test TAS largely due to better luck and some more polished strats in some sections; overall I expect it to be about a minute slower than Any%.")
