The vast majority of my tutorial for Skyblazer. Due to some connection issues the last portion was hugely affected by dropped frames, so I will have to redo it for the rest of the Great Tower and Raglan's Citadel someday. In any case, this should be a good resource for getting into speedruns of the game and really understanding its mechanics. The intro stage was also cut out from this recording, but that section is so minor that I don't think it needs to be included. This video is just an example of the route used for a quick Mission 1. This specific runs time is 1:27.104, but my best is 1:26.988 using pretty much the same approach. A low 1:26 is definitely possible with this route, maybe even a 1:25. I dont intend to grind anything lower, however.")

This is my best (recorded) path through the notorious stage 4. This is nearly 15 seconds faster than my previous path used in runs from 2013, and about 5 seconds shy of the TAS. This stage is a huge pain and very subtle differences in timing can ruin the spawn order and timing, which has cascading losses throughout the rest of the stage. Even if some parts look sloppy, this is (almost) the fastest I have ever been able to pull this off, and the path is even somewhat repeatable. Uploading for posterity and reference.")

Did this stage on a whim because its super short, but picking out some of the tricks ended up making it really interesting. This game is still really new and I have no doubt this will eventually get beaten, but I was pretty happy with it so I decided to upload it.
My jump at the end on the train was a bit slow, but most of the rest of the run was pretty good. The setup for the lava boat skip took a little bit of time, and Im sure theres a better way to do it anyway. I imagine another 2 seconds can come off the time just in this route, but breaking the 1:30 could be possible with a few more improvements I havent thought of.")

A new PB 8 years later! This is a so-so run, but shows evidence of the new strats and mechanics I recently looked into. Theres a huge luck component to runs, but Ill see how much further I want to drive this down. For now, target is 18:3x.
