If you're wearing casual attire like jeans, a comfy hoodie, maybe a light jacket with roomy pockets, etc... you probably have very little difficulty keeping anything you want on your person. It gets even easier if you have a backpack or laptop bag... so many hackers I know have a Shove Knife, a Traveler Hook, Keys to Silicon Valley, their Proxmark, hell sometimes even a coiled-up Under Door Tool with them if they've got their laptop bag around! But what do you do on the occasions when you're dressed up fancy?
Sharper outfits often mean smoother lines and more form-fitting clothes. A small clutch or discrete handbag might make an appearance, but you're not bringing a a backpack with you to an evening at the theater or to a cocktail party. What if event security is enforcing a no bags rule? What if you're in a non-permissive environment where people may be subject to pat-downs or pocket checks?
This is a question that I've enjoyed considering throughout much of 2025 and this end-of-year video features the results of my experimentation. I think you'll like it. Enjoy! 👍😁👍
