Riders from all over gathered in Bolzano, Italy to take part in another edition of the Sneak Peaks bikepacking event, setting off on an adventurous journey through the Italian Dolomites. The routes lead across rugged terrain, steep climbs, and remote alpine landscapes, demanding resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of curiosity from everyone involved.
Sneak Peaks is not just about distance or elevation. Led by expedition leader Raphael Albrecht, the event follows a clear set of values: a strict and sustainable travel policy for all participants, compensation of CO₂ emissions, solidarity tickets, and FLINTA* entries to support underrepresented groups. There is no cut-off time, and riders are not only allowed but encouraged to ride together, form teams, and support one another – creating an open, inclusive, and community-driven atmosphere.
