Malachi got this Snap Circuits Jr for Christmas so that he could safely experiment with easy to use circuitry. Everything is pretty hardened from being abused. So far we've put together several of the projects that involve light detection, and motors spinning. The motor is neat because it can spin a propeller up in the air to catch. Once we got to the sound generating circuits he started to play around with the wiring and found out he could make different sounds. The is a loose form of circuit bending in my opinion because it's not really how the circuit was intended to be wired, and might actually be cross-wired to produce different sounds and effects. Out of all of the Christmas presents Malachi received, this is the one he's constantly playing with.
