A few weeks ago I visited Snake River Canyon Dedication Point Overlook to test out my new DJI Mini 2 and the Maven App.
I designed and flew two Maven Waypoint Mission that day with interesting results. One glaring issue is with the Maven app itself - when I launch the app on my iPhone, the control screens are inverted, causing me to rotate the controller and attached iPhone in order to plan my missions and to fly them. I am under the impression that this caused part of the issues I encountered with the second Waypoint mission. I plan to return to the Canyon to repeat the waypoint missions in the near future.
On a brighter note, the wind speeds that day were 11 mph gusting to 22 mph and the Mini 2 responded well to the wind speeds. I had my concerns but Starbuck performed flawlessly.
Let me know in the comments how to un-invert the Maven app at launch. This is a mystery to me at the moment.
