My first yoshi's island hack I did. Incredibly fun game, even better than the original and I got way too addicted to it. Only got pretty frustrating in world 5, since every single level was just cursed. Either I missed one collectable, died 5 times to the last jump, despite it being pretty much free or absolutely nothing worked out.
Also still a pain that the lives don't save. In the original you could do the minigames a couple times to farm some, but here you don't unlock them after beating a world 100%. Mostly it's not a huge issue, since you get lives pretty consistently, but you have to reset after 5-8 and doing 5 extra and secret with just 3 lives is quite scary. Farming lives would take ages, so I practiced 5 secret, which certainly was a good idea.
Anyway I highly recommend giving this hack a try.

Despite uploading zone 2 pretty recent, I took a huge break before C10. I learned that level multiple times and even was ready to start attempts, but I never had any motivation, so I kept doing other stuff. I decided to focus fully on TTR and if I finish that game, this star should be rather easy in comparison. However even now I was really scared of that star. I practiced for multiple hours and the next day we had late breakfast, so even more practice. Since I relearned this star multiple times, I easily spent over 10h just practicing this. Luckily I was able to fluke that star in attempts, so I had my average 10+h practice and 14 min attempts time.
C8 was also really rough. I quit the demo to s5 back then, mainly because some changes were promised. However besides a heart being added, everything was the same. The main problem is that momentum jump close to the end. I found a way to skip the required 2nd frame, but it was still a really inconsistent jump.
Reds werent as bad as they first seemed, but still quite hard. As this level is based on TTR, my curse continued and I choked the ending to something that never happened in practice and the next attempt got the star.
C11 was a really fun break level.
B2 was quite decent as well, just that insanely precise tj wallkick was way out of place. The fight was a pretty neat LLT reference.
