Grendel's mom has got it going on.
What is this challenge?
-A low level run of Strange Journey, meaning EXP can only be gained from forced encounters. This also means any demons need to be discovered by fusion or in-game passwords (no password generator).
Why this and not Redux?
-Maybe later
We have two main issues going into her fight: 1. She deals nasty amounts of damage and 2. We have a hard time trying to hit her. The first issue can be solved very easily with buffs, but I haven't been doing an admittedly good job holding on to my agility buffs, and Dekajaing Illusion Ritual only goes so far. Doppelganger would have been better than Nue for here at least, but, eh, I'll try and solve it before I reach Zelenin.
But yeah, Maya's no pushover. High health, high damage, and if we use attack spells, she'll one-hit kill us. Thankfully, Cu Chulainn comes packaged with the most OP gun skill in the game, so even with our low hit rate, I was able to deal significant damage to her each round.
And with her defeated, I now have two Debilitates to work with. This is probably the most I'll get, so I have to make 'em count.
