This is me collecting the "Moving Target" star in super mario star road with only 1 A press.
The A presses are as follows:
#1: To get onto the target
Maplestrip showed an alternate way to get to the mainland here:

My way however uses VSC (Vertical speed conservation) in order to get up to a very high platform. From here you get more possibilities than just dive recovering your way over to the mainland. Therefore this strat has more room for improvement when it comes to other stars.

I collect The Flooded Cave using 0.5 A Presses. I discovered that you actually CAN make it up the little ledge in the cave, this makes saving 1 a press possible!
