I'm here at Manchester Metropolitan University for the Sanjay Mortimer RepRap Festival, better known as SMRRF. This is one of the UK’s most unique 3D printing events, bringing together makers, modders, designers, cosplay creators, filament brands, printer companies, and some of the most creative minds in the entire desktop 3D printing space.
This video is also sponsored by PCBWay. If you need custom PCBs, CNC parts, brackets, plates, or custom-made parts for your own projects, check them out here:

In this video I walk the show floor to find the most insane creations in 3D printing, from stunning HueForge artwork and Polymaker updates, to cosplay builds, portable 3D printers, clever laser tech, Death Racers chaos, premium startup concepts, and some of the most passionate people in the maker community. If you’re into 3D printing, RepRap, DIY tech, filament, cosplay props, maker culture, Voron, Bambu Lab, portable printers, or the future of desktop fabrication, this one is absolutely packed.
In this video we check out:
Polymaker and the latest around HueForge and FlatForge
Incredible 3D printed artwork and creative applications
Cosplay and 3D printing with AnimeCon UK creators
The beautifully designed Muon portable 3D printer
123-3D.co.uk and why UK-based support matters
Amazing printed rail, tram, castle and display models designed and printed by Fulv (cults3d: cults3d.com/@fulv)
A look at the fun, chaos, and community spirit that makes SMRRF such a brilliant event
Joel Finn, Polymaker, and more from the wider 3D printing scene
SMRRF is more than just a 3D printing festival — it’s a celebration of the community, the innovation, and the people pushing the hobby and industry forward. Whether you’re into practical printing, artistic prints, engineering, cosplay, open-source hardware, or just want to see what the UK 3D printing scene looks like right now, this event has a bit of everything.
