Season 3 of Slow Boat Sailing's round the world trip is here and it did not go well. Captain Linus is scrambling to get the engine started and to stop smoking when the Slow Boat is put into the water after 9 months on the hard in Tahiti. He replaces the stuffing box, the air filter, impeller, starter, and the Balmar 70 amp alternator before the Yanmar 3GM30F engine will work.
Linus sails to Papeete and has engine overheating issues. He shops for parts and replaces a very disgusting toilet (head) on his Island Packet 31-foot sailboat.
