Every October the Sumpter Valley Railway puts on their annual Photographers Weekend, where the railroad brings out both of their steam locomotives, a 2-8-2 and a wood burning Hesiler. They put together trains using freight equipment not normally used and run photo runbys for two days for the benefit of the cameras present. Here my two favorite scenes from the 2017 event.
