This tutorial will cover the basics of creating and customising Smoke Simulations in Blender.
** Quick Smoke **
First we will look at using the Quick Smoke effect to get set up easily and create some smoke in Blender. We will also quickly revisit my tutorial on Volumetric Rendering and talk about the smoke material that uses the Volume Absorption and Volume Scatter shaders.
** Create your OWN Smoke **
Then we will dive into the deep end and set up a smoke simulations ourselves from scratch. You will learn how to create and customise your smoke domain and how to set up smoke emitters and Outflows.
We will discuss how to bake your simulation to keep it saved on your hard drive and how to use Smoke High Resolution to refine the look of your smoke.
** Animations and the Smoke Emitter **
Then will expolore how to transfer the movement of our emitter to the smoke and how to customise its density, behaviour and colour.
** Collisions **
Finally, you will learn how to create collisions for your smoke. We will set up a few objects within our Smoke domain and have our smoke collide with them.
All comments, questions, concerns or feedback are very welcome!!!
