Giving my Godzilla lecture back in 2014 at the Smithsonian Institution's Future is Here Festival, in a collaboration with Nerd Nite's Global Fest. Found myself speaking alongside such luminaries as astronaut Mae Jemison, string theorist Brian Greene, NASA engineer Adam Steltzner, Star Trek legend George Takei and many others. Amazing experience.
This was formerly hosted on the Smithsonian Magazine's website, but the link appears to be broken. Another victim, perhaps, of the current war on science. Or, in my case, fake science.
