On a trip to New York city, I had the chance to swing by Smith's Bar. It's locate a block "up" and "over" from Times Square. Address is: 701 8th Avenue (W.44th Street) Hell's Kitchen, New York, NY 10036 Also know as Midtown Manhattan.
I stopped in for a shot and a beer, during Happy Hour (Fri), quick service and friendly bartender named Mike. Very local feel for someone out of town.
The bar was once only on one side, the side in the video, the owner bought the next door and removed the wall and the design seems to work as liquors and and beers are accessible to the bartender.
