Revisit to Smith's Bar - Since the last visit, the bar changed ownership. I was told the bar closed briefly then reopened. Things seemed the same, this time I was there during happy hour & the bottle beer was $1 off. $4 for domestic bottle beer in Manhattan is not bad. Bartender and locals seemed friendly.
Eighth Avenue and 44th Street in Midtown near Times Square, just a local bar like where you are from.
