This video shows how open Galaxy Generator is, to theorise a few ideas.
- The Final Section of the Main level is directly underneath the beginning, this could lead to skipping a large portion of the stage if a method to avoid the death plane (shut up Flygon Keepo) is found.
-The planet with the real grand star is not far off the end of the main stage, thus a potential strat to make it there with yoshi flutters may not be that ridiculous considering we now have a lot of knowledge on optimising the remount.

Huge improvement on WR for such a short star - this is a nightmare to optimise because you need to rely on RNG patterns all lining up on top of timing the spins as early as possible without hitting the metal. If Digga-Leg starts moving before you hit him you lose a significant number of frames because his hitbox is raised into the air.

The main timesave comes from the Rock Jump Chain to keep the rock mushroom on the 2nd planet and skip the launch star. I can see a sub 40 being possible, but itd be very difficult due to how awkward the rock controls are.

This is the most incredible IL I have ever pulled off. Only 0.3s off the TAS in this star, I managed to pull off whats considered the hardest trick in all of Super Mario Galaxy. This took hours upon hours of attempts and a lot of patience to optimise perfectly.

I equally needed to blindly control my height and speed to avoid death plane and make it to the star platform. The angle needed to be perfect from the very beginning without taking time to set it up. This is my proudest World Record in SMG2, and I cant wait to continue optimising other levels.
